Kudos! And welcome to the art
department. Hopefully here you will
find the answers to many of life's
questions or at least ones relating
to screenprinting and embroidery!
By now you've
probably determined the number of
colors you will need and the color
of your garment or item. Information
on colors can be found by using the
links to Screenprinting or
Embroidery. Now we need to discuss
the types of artwork you will need
to send us provided you already have
a logo or design. For those of you
starting with an empty canvas we
will be happy to come up suggestions
to get you going.
We prefer to have
you send us an .eps file as it will
generally already be in vector
(or line art) format that is ready
for us to use, .ai files work fine
too. We can use a clear .jpg picture
or graphic, if an .eps (.ai) file is
unavailable, however this will
generally add a day or two to your
turn around time. And with a
.jpg (or .bmp) file, the bigger the
better; If I can't see the details,
I can't recreate them.
A note to mention
regarding photographic quality work.
If you are ordering screenprinted
shirts with a photograph or portrait
on it, please send the clearest
photos you have and if you are
emailing them, please send them with
a resolution of at least 150 dpi. We
can receive up to 10MB per email.
Keep in mind you can always bring
them in for us to scan into the
computer.
Last but not least
you will want to send the artwork to
Kelly at
advantageart@mchsi.com
with a description of what
you need done.
Thanks, Kelly.
